BATH #5 Announced

Time has flown, how is it the end of the year already? How is there another BATH coming up? I'm not complaining, but 2013 has been very short.

I still remember thinking 'daamn, I cant get to BATH this year' like it was a few months ago, now BATH 5 is announced?! Awesome I suppose, hopefully I'll make this and everyone who can should, so mark the 22nd March in your diaries and make sure to get to Berlin for the usual world class barrage of fingerboarding brilliance. Props to everyone who's organising it!

Rendevous 16

I love Rendevous, it always sounds one of the best events that can go down, so it's awesome to see another announced.

November 23rd will hold the next Flatface Rendevous, Rendevous 16. Special guests Martin Winkler and Martin Ehrenberger along with all your favourite Flatface riders, this is set to be a spectacle of USA fingerboarding at is finest as per usual, so if you can get there definitely do so. One day I'll be rich enough to afford the heinously expensive flight and make it myself!

Planktoon Zone 2

I love seeing events, especially when it's from scenes that are far away from the 'western' scenes that get the bulk of media coverage.

Planktoon Zone 2 is going down next month, with some awesome times set to be had by all, as well as a cash prize! Don't worry, that's not £650,000, it actually works out about £35.. Still awesome though, and I'm sure it's worth more as the currences are insanely different. Whether you win or not, get to this if you can and sesh some sick parks!

Pateo 1 Year

Time flies these days, it's already a year of the Pateo being open? I really don't know where the last year has gone.

Nonetheless, awesome stuff from Pateo, such a creative poster for what I'm sure is going to be an absolutely amazing event. Good times, good fingerboarding, and supporting a great place to go sesh? You really cant go wrong with that, so get there if you can.

Tomorrow

So, yea, as you might have guessed by the day that it is, and how much I've been talking about it recently.. I'm off until Sunday!

Crossed Fingers 2 is tomorrow, I've got some final preparation to do as I've been doing all day, and overall need to chill out a bit so I'm not shattered for the event tomorrow. I'm stoked with how it's all come together, so hopefully I'll see lots of you there tomorrow? Regardless of numbers though it'll be a rad day, so I cant wait. Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Crossed Fingers Goodies

Need something to get you pumped up to try and win 1st place at Crossed Fingers tomorrow? Well, here's just that..

All of this is going out to the 1st place winner at Crossed Fingers 2, which is totalled just over £200 worth of products. Not to mention £100 cash prize on top of that (the other £100 is split between 2nd, 3rd, and best trick), I predict some amazing competing going down. Be in Bristol tomorrow if you can!

Oh, and there's over £350 worth of product going out in the raffle/product toss too ;)

Saturday

I am soo nervous and excited at the same time. If you ever organise an event, you can expect that for a looooooong time before it happens.

CROSSED FINGERS 2 IS THIS SATURDAY. Tomorrow many people will descend on Bristol in preparation for it, and then Saturday everything goes down, and people battle it out for the cash prize and glory that is the title of UK champion. Anyone reckon Elliot's gonna get a hattrick of wins? Certainly could happen :)

One Week

Only seven days to go! That's enough time to swim across the ocean right? Maybe? I dunno.. Try? I expect to see all of you there, haha. Oh, and, we've like 99% got a big mini at the event now, so, that's even more awesome than previously thought :)

Finga + BC Park Opening Jam

Remember seeing that amazing fingerboard park Finga and Big Construction made for a skatepark? Well, this is happening..

Get to this if you can, as this park looks amazing! A great opening jam is going down on the 7th September, with mr Winkler making a special appearance too. The important thing is obviously the park, it looks ridiculously good to ride - I wish I could ride it myself!

Go check Finga on facebook here :)

Lowpro Meeting

Lowpro events are awesome, I'm sure that's something we can agree on. Soo..

The next Lowpro meeting is going down on the 24th August. If you're anywhere near Lisbon and can get to this, this is always a ton of fun from what I hear, and 100% fingerboarding vibes. Props to Lowpro!

ASI 18 Results

All you lucky people who got to go to ASI 8 yesterday surely had an awesome time, but for those who didn't, who's the all important winner?

Thanks to BRR for sharing, the top 10 places are:
1. Petr Ptacek
2. Dimitri Schlotthauer
3. Raul Jörgensen
4. Sandro Seidel
5. Stefan Klauser
6. Alex Christ
7. Harald Schön
8. Maxi Babel
9. Moritz Rüger
10. Aleksander Lülloff

Yup, Petr won something else! I'm stoked to see his streak of coming 2nd place in everything is finally over, and his ridiculous skills are getting recognised. I'm sure he killed it as always, hopefully some footage of the final will appear on the internet soon. For now, big props to everyone who went and made the event as awesome as ASI events always are.

Crossed Fingers 2 x Campus Skatepark

Everything for Crossed Fingers 2 is shaping up nicely, with great sponsors being added all the time and loads of parks to ride I really hope you guys are looking forward to it. Want more?

Thanks to Campus Skatepark sponsoring the event, anyone who comes to Crossed Fingers 2 and keeps their wristband from their session on to show up at Campus Skatepark the next day will get to skate for free! There'll be the fingerboard park there as well as the skatepark and the lounge to chill out in - should be a pretty fun addition to the weekend. If you can get to this, definitely do so as it's shaping up to be the biggest event the UK has seen - and when there's £200 in prize money I think we might see some international guests too.

Crossed Fingers 2 Prize

Updates from Crossed Fingers 2 anyone? I think you'll all like this..

So, that's just the new flyer, why are three new companies sponsoring soo exciting? Well, firstly it's Flatface, Mars Hill, and Compiny, so I'm stoked on that. But the awesome prize now coming to the winner of Crossed Fingers 2 is this: a place on the Mars Hill team! That's right, if you win you're instantly offered a place on their team, which I think promotes some really cool UK vibes for this. Hopefully you guys are liking this too, I'll have more news soon so the facebook event is definitely worth a click on if you're thinking of coming.

BRR Store Best Trick Photos

These events always look awesome, and it's really sick of BRR to put out soo much for them. Want to know what went down?

Pictures of the event and the winners of the BRR best trick competition #4 are up on the BRR store Berlin's facebook page. It looks like a great turnout and great time was had by all, so big props to everyone for making it another rad time at the BRR store. I'm eagerly awaiting footage!

IFC Results

IFC was yesterday, and I imagine as with last year it was a pretty epic time. The all important info though..

Congrats to Jared K, he emerged victorious this year! Christian K took second place, both of them are really good riders so big props to them for getting some well deserved places. Hopefully we'll see more pictures and video from this event soon.

Crossed Fingers 2 Parks

Being as it's now like 1.5 months until Crossed Fingers 2, I thought it'd be a good time to get some more hype going.

Maybe you missed that? Well, if you did, here's the updated flyer with all the info for the event. Want to know some more about the championship, though?

These are the parks that will be at the event, three of which will play host to one round each of the championship. In Crossed Fingers tradition the 6 set park will host the finals, however which of the Campus park or either of the other two parks get used for the other rounds, you'll have to wait and see! Still, it's going to be a ton of fun I'm sure, and probably the biggest event the UK has seen.

Also, if you are a company owner and are interested in sponsoring Crossed Fingers 2, get in touch on kerry@unitefingerboarding.com or via facebook!

Go check the event on Facebook and make sure to share it here :)

Emanant Event 2

I heard a lot of good things about the first of these events, so knowing there's a second one coming?
