DK S5s At Norwood

Being as I have one of these decks to review right now, I know how ridiculously nice they are. Soo..

I'm hyped to see that the DK S5 decks are available now at The Norwood Project. Nice to see Pete keeping a steady stream of rad products coming in to the UK, at a really nice pricepoint too. Only £12.50 for an exotic bottom of these? Madness, I'd definitely recommend them - if you cant wait for my review and have to dive on one now I think heading to Norwood is a good idea. As always.

Primitive Dogtown Replica

I haven't seen these films in ages, but they're pretty much classics, hands down. So..

HOW AWESOME ARE THOSE. Capslock needed because I'm pretty sure shouting is the only acceptable reaction to a replica that well done. As if the other stuff Primitive have done recently wasn't impressive, this just takes it all to a whole new level. Somehow.

Primitive Behind The Scenes

This isn't your typical multi stage behind the scenes, but it's still worth seeing.

Ever wondered how Primitive decks are put together? Well, this shot shows off some of the fine sanding and gives us all a closer look at the masterwork that goes into creating these. Where I saw it drop on FBHQ it's worded like there will be more of these for different stages - which I'd really like to see. If and/or when, I don't know, but still.. we can hope? Would be pretty rad.

Zink

Zink? Pink? Pzink? Yea I like that, let's go with that. Here's something Pzink.

Pink Zink? Yup, as if these decks weren't suitably awesome on their own, now they come in the most manly colour possible. Not available on their website yet but I guess if you take yourself to FBHQ you can probably find out when this will be up. Totally makes me want a pink deck.

BRR New Ramps

I just discussed part of this, but being BRR they wont drop something on it's own and will always have a bunch of nice things to give us.

BRR dropped some awesome stuff, most awesome of that being the Mike Schneider Ramp III. More brick obstacle love with a side helping of a tiny loading dock - and thankfully something that needs to be done more in fingerboarding - the hubba is moveable and slots in to one of two places for either FS or BS grinds. At only 40 euros it's a pretty tasty price, but if you're on a super budget the new brick box seems awesome. That, the new kicker, and things like Box 1 are really pushing mini obstacles and I'm stoked on that; they're not only great for travelling but super challenging and fun to ride too.

TNP x Big Construction Mini Kicker

This dropped on Big Construction a week ago, but now it's found it's way over here and looks absolutely rad.

Big Construction teamed up with The Norwood Project to drop this awesome mini kicker, that's now at The Norwood Project and available for only £5. I think that's the rad thing tbh, not only is it a super tiny fun obstacle but only £5? UK people, snag one of these up before they're gone - you'll regret it if you don't.

I really want to address the issue also of BRR bringing out a new kicker in the same dimensions just after BC dropped this. BC don't get huge coverage like BRR but even so, they dropped theirs a week first. That said, I don't think BRR would blatantly copy as I've seen their wall of prototype obstacles so I'm pretty sure idea -> reality takes longer than a week, and thus if they just wanted to do this it wouldn't have dropped by now. THAT SAID.. a week later? I dunno, they could have waited a bit. I guess end of the day, now there's two choices so you can get which ever one you like the most!

Snakehouse 1,000,000 Knifelord

I saw a tiny bit about these the other day on FBHQ, and it appears they're now being sold on Flatface and have a 30 minute long full length (which is not something to be taken seriously) out on Mike's channel.

So, what are they about? Well, I'm kind of guessing as much as you are. Cool looking decks with some rad graphics, up for only 25 dollars on Flatface? I'm sure this is a company that isn't supposed to be taken in the most serious light, but for a bit of fun I guess, why not? Even if the holes look absolutely terrible on these pictured decks, I still want to try one.

BeastPants News

Two in one news? Must be our lucky day, all the BeastPants goodness is happening at once. Incase you've not seen..

Welcome Trevor W to the BeastPants team, and then take a look at a further preview of the BeastPants stock. Cool to see there will be some basic splits in the stock too, not that that's what I'm most excited about for their drop but still - they look nice and it's always good to see more decks from them. Hopefully we'll see a BeastPants video from Trevor soon too!

Witchcraft Vinyl Stickers

Want another reason to pick up some of the nicest bushings out there? Well..

Here's one, all Witchcraft orders from now on will be coming with the new Witchcraft vinyl stickers absolutely free. I love vinyl stickers, they've always got an amazing look to them - definitely fitting perfectly with the Witchcraft logo. And when they're free with already amazing bushings, it's hard to say no.

Yellowood Beanies Out Now

Remember seeing the Yellowood Beanies teased the other day? Well, now they're somewhere where we can all buy them.

They're up on the Yellowood site, and are a crazy cheap price of only 12.99 euros. That's just under £10 I believe, which for a beanie is basically not much more than buying a blank one. Except, you know, these have awesome designs and are nice and simple too? Go get one.

Dankdecks Stock On

Dankdecks might be a relatively unknown company compared to all the big companies out there, but that doesn't mean their stuff isn't worth looking over.

Some pretty nice looking decks here, I loving the wildwood one. All of these decks are in stock and available now, I think they have a pretty fun looking shape and personally I find it really interesting trying new decks out, so when they're cheap 'why not' comes to mind. Worth a further look at least.

Flatface Fat Decks

I've no idea if this is just a one off or something that we'll see in the future, but I really hope the latter. Why?

This looks way too fun. I love oldschool shapes like this, makes me think to deck companies like Welcome Skateboards and all their oddness, I think this is almost the perfect mix of oldschool and standard street fingerboarding, so I'm really crossing my fingers these drop. Time will tell I guess.

BeastPants Madness

Seriously, are BeastPants completely unstoppable or is it just me? I think it's hard to think anything but that when seeing these.

Eyeball Boy with a pizza tshirt, and a GoatBeast deck? Both are amazing, but I really want the GoatBeast to be made into a superfat cruiser, it totally makes me think of Witchcraft skateboards and that sort of oldschool awesomeness. Seems the next stock is gonna blow everyone's minds nonetheless, get hyped!

Yellowood Beanies

I love winter clothing, infact I actually get annoyed most of the summer that I cant walk around in a thick hoodie with a beanie on.

Thankfully thought it's no longer warm outside, and Yellowood have got us covered with these awesome beanies. Available in the Ystore now and said to be online in the coming days, I'm really hoping these have the same great price point to quality that Yapparel has shown us so far, as I'd be really tempted to pick one up. I cant wait for when they drop!

Brutal Customs

Want to get your hands on a truly unique oldschool deck? Well, Brutal are doing some cool stuff right now.

Custom decks! Awesome looking to say the least. Whilst it's mainly a side point compared to the deck, what has me stoked and what I believe is going on all of their decks from now on - real wear graphic on the top to shine through a grip stripe. Just another reason why these are far too nice to not pick up.

Flatface G12 Sale

I love this, it very much brings back my old days of fingerboarding where I swore by G12s and rode one for aaaages.

A sale on G12s is going on over on Flatface until friday, you can pick up a 30.5mm G12, plus a free sheet of riptape, for only 25 dollars. I know it's all about G14s and 32mms these days but if you've never tried a g12, you're totally missing out on an amazing piece of fingerboarding. Get these before the deal is off!

Berlinwood 33.3mm Release

I'm stoked on this, Berlinwood have been teasing us with some special editions for ages now so it's rad to see these actually drop.

And with it comes a bunch of amazing new graphics, and stayed at the normal BW price of 35 eur! Especially the mothership, I love this kind of art, it totally reminds me of the Dance Gavin Dance 'deathstar' (this) with some random hints of Escher. Which, you know, is awesome enough as it is, but when you get that or the new Mike, Jay, and Timo pro models, and anchor goodness to top it off? I really hope I can try one of these soon. Props to Berlinwood and BRR for this!

Grand Deck Checkout

Grand were nice enough to ask if I wanted to review one of their decks, and gave me a choice of blank or graphic. I figured 'graphic, always!' and went with that. However..

I don't think I was prepared for the awesomeness that would appear through my door yesterday. Seriously, how insanely sick is this? Not only some awesome packaging and loads of nice freebies, but one of the raddest graphics I've seen in a long time. I was told 'this has slightly bad craftsmanship but we wanted you to have a nice graphic' - yet the craftsmanship looks pretty spot on from what I can see. If it gets better than this? You guys need one of these boards. Now.

Oak Wheels 2014

I love Oak Wheels, not only do they always put out amazing graphic wheels and colourways but every time they drop something new it's always had soo much thought put into it.

So, after not seeing much new from them for a while, here's the 2014 graphic range. Simple and Spiral series, both with single colour and multi colour sets and both looking awesome. I must say, I'm surprised the Spiral series didn't go red/yellow/green/blue rather than red/pink/green/blue for their multi colour, but oh well - what ever mix of colours they have they'll always be rad to ride. I think the Simple series are some of my favorite wheels ever made!

Brutal Halloween Colourway

Who likes awesome oldschool decks? Everyone? Okay, then you'll love this.

A special Brutal oldschool deck was launched for Halloween, in a rad looking black and orange colourway. These look seriously fun, and whilst buying 'holiday specific' decks might seem a little odd in certain ways, this is a colourway you could love all year round, but even more appreciate in the coming weeks. I mean, the decks were awesome anyway, now they've got a bit more awesome and stayed the same price - cant argue with that.
