Metal Mesh Core MMC decks. Coincidence? haha, no, MMC is the mold for everyone who doesn't know. Metal Mesh Core Mellow Medium Concave. Try saying that 5 times fast? Haha.. The decks look amazing, from what I gather they're 5 ply decks where the middle ply is a metal mesh, which allows the glue to seep all through the holes in the mesh and make it really strong, and at the same time gives a lot of pop and a really nice look! As you can see the outside of the deck has the metal mesh edges shining through, which is really awesome. Apparently they shimmer in the light, which would be really cool! I'd love to see some HD footage of a kickflip on one of these under a good filming light. Preferably in slowmo. It'd probably look like the deck was full of lots of tiny diamonds or something!
Either way, its a really rad idea and a great new way to look at deck making. You can pick one up for $20 on the redemption site. If you've been wanting to try a new deck and like the shape of the MMC mold, I'd fully recommend one of these. They're a limited edition, so, you'll get a rather unique deck, with I'm sure a very unique feel! Great stuff as always from Jordan :)
