This is just one of the many reasons why Lowpro are a family, and not a team. Fully up for supporting people in dark times.
Flavio Sousa, a great Portuguese fingerboarder, got his car broken into, a canon hf200, and an opteka fisheye stolen from his car. Not only has he lost a very expensive camera he only recently got, but a fisheye he only recently got too, AND hes gotta fix his car window. People don't deserve this, especially not great fingerboarders with a really positive attitude.
So, here comes lowpro. They hear about this, and so they are offering anyone whos willing to help, even in the tiniest way, the chance to win anything up to a value of 50 euros, to spend in the lowpro shop. What do you have to do? Well, donate. Anything, even the teeniest bit, say 1 euro, just to show help out a great guy in a dark time. Show fingerboarding has this great positive power to rise up and unite against negativity and bullshit like this. We live in dark times in a fucked up world, but fingerboarding is a global light, and with it we can not only have fun, and make friends, but support each other. So, give, anything, just a teeny bit, to help a guy out. If everyone gives like a euro, he'll have a camera again in no time! I've not donated yet, but, I'm going to do so after I've posted here. Probably just a few euros, but, every little helps. And, if you help, well, you'll be in the draw (winner from people who donated selected at random) to win 50 euros to spend at lowpro. Everyone wins!
This finishes in a month, the 22nd February. The address to paypal donate money too is: flavinho_boy_567 [at ] hotmail [dot] com .
Huge props to lowpro, and Flavio, I really hope this helps you to get back what you lost. Stay smiling + fingerboarding man :)
