Redemption have done something awesome again! Something I've never seen done before, I'm pretty sure jordan is the first one to do this, a metal mesh middle ply on a deck!
Terrible picture because apparently his camera is dead, but, yea, look at that! The glue soaks through the holes and sticks the layers together a lot firmer, so its overall a really solid deck. And because of the holes, its also not heavy, like many metal decks are.
Its always great to see innovative things like this! I mean, metal decks had been done, but now its taken it to a new level. I'm sure the metal mesh looks really cool as a side ply as well. I'd really like to try a deck like that, might be great for outdoor decks, no wear is gonna destroy that, aside getting it run over or something. No word on when/if these will be released, they're just prototypes now, but hopefully they'll be released one day!
