Based on the THC wheels from the substance 2010 range, I think these two wheels, the THCa and THCb, are absolutely amazing. THCa being the green, and b being the black. They're high precision lathed wheels with the same quality you can always expect from substance. Single bearing that'll fit all trucks including brrs, which they're optimised for. Also the wheels apparently have a unique vortex design that keeps the bearing in place at all times. From what I can see on this picture, it looks like the bearing is covered by the material on both sides, the teeniest bit on the front and coning in on the back similar to the brr 2010 editions.
If thats true, then, well, thats solved the main issue single bearing wheels have always had, bearing movement. There looks like there is soo much expertise put into these little wheels its almost surprising its possible to put so much into something so small! Nothing less from substance though.
I will admit my great disappointment of no quartz material, or any white wheels. Substance want to create something that'll stand out, and, well, I can see that with the green wheels, but the black ones are the same colour as any other black wheel. Therefore its a shame that such fantastic craftsmanship + technology cant be applied to some white wheels. Substance 2011 ivories? I think I'd need new underwear if that ever happened, haha..
Nonetheless, fantastic stuff from substance. A flawless set of wheels that'll last you forever, I highly recommend getting a set. (check out my review of substance 2010 quartz wheels here if you've not seen it) :)
