Ever Wondered

What downgrading would be like? Or, that might sound bad.. but if you've ridden bearing wheels for ages, would you ever go back? If all you ride is brr trucks, would you mind using wides? Here's a really fascinating video showing that the 'downgrades' might not be as bad as you'd think.

Bollie. I know a lot of new people to fingerboarding use bollie stuff.. but what do they perform like? Compared to a seasoned fingerboarder, not many people knew, as not many fingerboarders who use bearing wheels are gonna pick up a set of bollies over a set of winklers, just because, well, bearing wheels are something once you're attuned to, its weird to not use.

As you can see however.. look how smooth all those tricks are! And thats not just because Joaquin has an amazing style, its because what bollie claims about their products is actually true. The wides, unlike a bunch of old td wides, have straight, decent axles. The wheels don't wobble at all and are really smooth. And I'm sure the decks have some really good pop too! I'm glad someone has finally put out footage to answer this question. I don't know if there is other people who've done the same thing, but, I've never seen someone who's been fingerboarding for a long time ride bollie stuff, to really put it through its paces.

The verdict? You don't need a mega expensive setup to have clean styled tricks. I mean, you could argue that, for example, push completes were/are (don't know if they're in stock) 45 dollars? But, bollie looks like another very good alternative for a starter, and even an intermediate setup. I actually really like the shape of the decks, might pick one up one day! :)
