I saw this video yesterday, and, yea, its simply amazing. Hands down my favourite fingerboarding video I've seen. The vibe, the scenery, the amazing style and tricks.. Ahh.. Watch for yourselves. I know its 9 minutes, but, its worth it.
Beautiful. And such great editing too. You know why I'm uber stoked this video is on Vimeo? You can download it for free! This video is now safely sat on my harddrive, so I can watch it when ever I want, and take it with me to watch on my phone and things like that.
The main reason I'm featuring this video though, is because of how inspiring it is. Not only does it just make you want to go sit outside, pretend (for all of us UK people) that we have a pretty view to look out at rather than another house in some boring city, and go fingerboard.. But, for me, the guy's style was soo amazing, and he didn't tuck his fingers. Which reminded me why I fingerboard my way. Tucking can look good, but, everyone I think needs to loose the stereotype that non tucking = bad style. Go watch the video, and, well, if you can honestly say that guy has bad style, then, I don't know whats wrong with you. And if you still hate non tucking, there's a part in this video by Joaquin Mendez, and, well, I don't need to say how good his style is, half the fingerboarding kids want to be just like him XD
Overall, such a great watch. Watch it, download it, chill out and eat something whilst watching it, do what ever. Just, go enjoy that video.
The video was uploaded to Joe Lacrasse on vimeo, but its by a guy called Lionel Simon. Huge props to Lionel, Joe, Joaquin, and all the other people in the video! :)
