Unitefingerboarding Went To Prague - Part 4

Finally today comes part four of the recap of my Prague and EFC trip! This covers sunday, monday, and tuesday (although technically for tuesday I was in england on a bus home).

My street plaza, waiting for people to turn up chilling in the sun.

Everyone seshing at Vysehrad's main bowl.

The snakerun bowl.

A closeup shot of the snakerun bowl with its whippy but mega fun transition.

After late night chill sessions with some of the Czech guys I woke up and me and a bunch of people rolled out on the underground to Vysehrad, which is definitely the most amazing outdoor fingerboard spot ever. Surrounding one building is three AMAZING fingerboard bowls. One is a giant bowl, one is a weird 4 leaf clover shaped thing, and the other is a crazy whippy but mega fun snakerun type thing. Sunday involved a few short rain showers in the middle of the day, but it cheered up quickly inbetween and there was shelter from the rain whilst it happened. There were around 20 people at least chilling outside and fingerboarding, it was soo much fun! I ended up staying there til around 5pm, when the last people had to go home, so I slowly strolled back to the hostel via a shop to stock up on sweets and fizzy for the evening. Jan had dropped off my street plaza dos (it was in his car as I couldn't carry it when I got it) and my charger, so I got my camera charging and sat using the hostel's free wifi. Then me and Jan went to the pizza place and after much kofola (I MISS THIS DRINK! ITS TOO NICE! Someone czech send me a bottle and I'll give you like a billion stickers and maybe a deck, haha) I went back to the hostel, only to be greated by some drunk Slovakians who insisted I come sit with them as I was on my own. Which was amusing to say the least XD Next morning I checked out, went to town, then Vysehrad, where I was supposed to meet people at 11 but noone came til almost 1. Nonetheless when they did come we fingerboarded and filmed for ages. I then got on a bus home and said goodbye to Prague! A 19 hour bus journey with a family of loud, smelly, fat Czech gypsies who got out all this meat and started cutting it on the bus into some sort of banquet, and then one of them slept on the floor of the bus inbetween people. Who does that? Fat gypsies I guess. Oh well, I 'accidentally' kicked the one on the floor like 5 times XD

And I came back to England, and finally to Plymouth, to find my flat had a burst water pipe and hence I'm living at my mums. A perfect metaphor to being back in the UK, haha..

I hope you've enjoyed this little insight into my trip, I cant tell you how much of an amazing time it was. My first time riding BRR parks, going to a big event, and chilling/fingerboarding with soo many people. People I met for the first time were so positive about unite and really amazing to me, so thankyou SO much to everyone I met. I hope to see you all again soon!

And here's a note to everyone who wants to go to events, but sits around doing and being bummed there's nothing in their town. Fingerboarding is not a MASSIVE global scene yet and the biggest and best stuff to be had IS going to involve travelling for almost everyone. BUT it is SOO worth it! I had to travel a total of 52 hours round trip but I would do it again and again, and more. Fingerboarding is amazing, going to events, meeting people, and having a great experience has been one of the best times of my life. And busses internationally are cheap. Next event you want to go? Go to it. Pack a bag, get a bus, and go fingerboard! :)
