The event hall with everyone in.

Competition time with Timo doing some brilliant commentating.

All our boards in a stack, chilling with the Czechs.
Sorry there aren't many pictures this day (and most are screengrabs from a video..), I had no charger from thursday until sunday evening so I had barely any battery on saturday. ANYWAY, After waking up a bit later than planned (staying up til 4am maybe wasn't a good idea XD) I left Greg, Bruno, and Marvin asleep and went off to the event place. Being a VIP I had the luxury of rolling in way before everyone else, so I got there early and had basically all the parks to myself to sesh for around an hour before everyone else poured in. And I do mean poured, within 5 minutes the place went from being almost empty to being crawling with people such to the point that you could't even begin to get to a space to fingerboard on. Was amazing to meet everyone and sesh with people, I had soo many fun games of skate with people! My first experience riding BRR parks was one of the best experiences ever, they're soo well made. I cant decide which park was my favourite, but if I had to choose one, the Canon x BRR park was definitely one I spent the most time on, that thing was soo much fun! Anyway, after much seshing, meeting people, and talking, it was finally event time. Lots of great riding from 120 riders, and in the end I was stoked to make it through to the semi finals. There were no places announced except for the final 20 place, but the top 40 went through to the second round so I'd imagine I got around 35th place. Which I'm really really happy with! Especially for my first big contest, I was soo nervous, haha.. The winning place went to Dimi, with Raul in second, Schmidi in third, Harry fourth, and Timo fifth. The winners got their prizes, and then product toss ensued. During which Martin Winkler gave me two free tshirts (thanks soo much man!), which I assume the kids thought I'd be throwing out for the toss as they all looked at me like blood thirsty zombies after free stuff! After the event we chilled outside, got more pizza, and then with the FF14 park outside a bunch of us fingerboarded for a while, then it was just me, Raul and David left outside til around 10pm when I went to the hostel. There loads of people were chilling outside so we sat and talked til around 1am, then me and some of the czech guys (finga/klwood/big construction guys) sat in their hostel room, talked, and fingerboarded. Seriously fun night, and the event was an amazing day. Seriously one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Stay tuned for the final recap with the rest of the days in Prague! Part four will be tomorrow evening :)
