Cyclone Syndrome 3 Write Up

Well, I know I said I'd put a video up, but, yea, I'm far too tired to look through and edit hours and hours of footage, so, no, not happening today. Sorry. Tomorrow or wednesday I guess. But, you can enjoy my write up of the event and a few photos.

Those photos were from the start of the day, it got busier, 30+ people I think when everyone had turned up. The event was in Manchester, England, on the 25th February. We arrived at 10 to find a fair few people were there already and all the tables set up with all the ramps, including a BRR big mini and a marble plaza. Loads of really friendly people and even more fingerboarding, the vibe was amazing. Everyone was really excited and had loads of fun, especially for the competitions! I don't remember the whole standings, but Euan L took first place on the Big Mini run, Eddie S won the street run, and Thom M took first place in the game of skate! I came 4th in skate too, really happy with that considering there are a handful of INSANELY good fingerboarders in the UK who've been fingerboarding for years longer than me, haha..The competitions were all great fun and the event came to an end (far to quickly, I could have stayed there for days!) at 3pm. An after sesh went down at the Trafford Centre, which has some amazing spots.

All in all it was the best event the UK has ever had, it really shows how much the scene is growing and I'd just like to say THANKYOU to everyone who came. There can only be bigger and better things ahead for UK fingerboarding thanks to the success of Cyclone 3. It was one of the best few days of my life, soo much fun and finally meeting all my friends was amazing. I'll end with this note, if you EVER have the chance to go to an event, do so, seriously. Soo worth the amazing times that are had! Fingerboarding with other like minded people is not only great for the scene, but its the best fun you can ever have, no doubt. :)
