So what makes them v.2 you ask? Well, the urethane is a harder material now, whilst still having a very oak like feel. So, they're not mega mega hard, just a bit less soft. Which, given what I've heard from people saying of oaks in the past, should be a really good thing. Oak are always coming out with some great, innovative products, and I've always wanted to try a set, and this might finally be what makes me get a set.
Another thing I did think, is, everyone knows how dirty oaks get (I've seen original oaks that turned literally the same brown as a yellowood browny deck, all over), but from what I know of skate wheels, a harder wheel, whilst it doesn't stop dirt getting on the wheel, it doesn't tend to discolour anyway near as quickly as a soft wheel. And any dirt on the wheel comes off a lot easier too. So, yea, if thats right, then, thats great, because lots of people like white wheels, not yellowy brown wheels, haha.. Or, I suppose, a wheel that stays pretty much the colour you buy it as is the point.
