Ever wanted a ramp to fingerboard on but not had the money? What did you do, go without? Most likely. You really shouldn't though, and, this is why.
This is easily the most fun ramp I've ever built. Soo many possibilities, so many ways to sesh it! What did it cost? Nothing. I just used scraps of wood I had left over from previous projects. Same goes for the paint. And the old old blue tech deck bench used as a hubba top. It took less than a day to make, and I built it in stages, so I could sesh each stage before adding to it.
Even if you don't have bits of wood lying around, you can do the same. Find a ramp you like but cant afford, and make a replica! Or better yet, either tweak a ramp you like to make it just how you want it, or, do what I did and just design something, then make it! Google sketchup is a free and very easy to use design program that can help you see what designs you may have in your head would look like before you build them. I know I've written about this before but, fingerboarding is about fun, not being 'cool', and, cardboard ramps/homemade ramps are awesome. Its not all about having BRR everything (not that BRR ramps aren't amazing, and worth the money, thats just not the point here). I mean, you have no idea how fun what I made is, so go make something fun yourself! You'll have fun making it, then even more fun using it over and over. And if you use old materials lying around, it wont cost you anything at all. You really cant argue with that!
Now go have fun and fingerboard. :)
