There's some amazing stuff here! Basically this new type of mold from NFB has 8 pins where the truck holes go (all the molds are customs, so the wheelbase can be what ever you want it to be) that not only lock the veneer in place when it's being pressed, but helps a lot with drilling the deck. THEN when you've drilled the deck the template you get also has those pins in, so that fits perfectly into your truck holes so you know when you cut out your deck the holes are perfectly aligned at the right angle, and are in the middle of the board. Really impressive stuff - I'm far from supporting every kid in the world who thinks it's a good idea to make a company, but for those already out investing in one of these molds means as customers we get a lot more consistent decks for a lot less effort (which could lower prices). Cant complain at that!
