Trip To Germany + BRR London Tour Recap Pt.1

See, I promised didn't I? Yup, here it is, part one of my tour recap. This will cover the time from going there, up until when we left for Berlin.

Walking into BRR Headquarters.

Where I stayed at the Steig, with a G8 park next to my bed.

The view out my window at the Steig, really pretty countryside.

Another fingerboard paradise at the Steig, with an unreleased BRR ramp in the corner.

So, after a joyously early wake up, and checking I had everything, I was ready to go, and I went off on my way to the airport! A crowded train later, thankfully that was only half of my journey, and the next half was surprisingly really nice. Once I'd flown, getting to Schwarzenbach ended up being way more complicated than I'd hoped, with trains that split in the middle and not sure if I was on the right one, and, yea.. Somehow I managed it, haha, and I was greeted by Thomas at almost 10pm when I finally arrived. The Steig, where I was staying, is an amazing place. I had a huge room (almost the size of my entire flat) to myself which was full of sofas, beds, other places to sleep, and a g8 park in the middle. Certainly an interesting place to sleep! The next day I went to the BRR headquarters, got a tour of the whole place, met everyone, got to choose two Berlinwoods for myself (which you've already seen), helped them film some things which ended up not being used (so I'll have that footage at some point soon in a big tour video), and something else that shall not yet be named. And the day ended with the nicest vegetarian kebab I've ever had. The next day was equally cool, making my own custom tshirt, more chilling, getting stared at by everyone in Lidl because I didn't speak German (and a friendly lady trying to get her daughter to speak English to me, who looked soo hilariously embarassed), and more. Oh, and loading the tour van with over 200 bottles of beer, haha..

It was really cool to get such an insight into BRR, they do such a great job, so thanks to them for inviting me! Next stop was Berlin, and you can read about that tomorrow :)
