Sick stuff from Cali-Irons! First they came out with their really interesting L rail thing, and now they're back with an amazing prototype - the adjustable height rail. I believe a company years ago (might have been primo?) made one of these, but I don't know if they were ever sold. Still, these look absolutely amazing, seriously well made, and I love that you can use it as an up rail as well as a normal rail. Right now they go from 2" to 3", but if they can go from 1.5" to something, they'd be perfect! Definitely getting one of these when they're out, stay tuned for more news when it appears.
