MAMD '11 Round Up

So, for those of you who don't know, MAMD = Make A Mini Day. Something FFI does generally once a year, but I believe last year they didn't do one. This year's MAMD kicked things back into full swing, and I'm gutted I didn't put even a little something together for this. Amazing stuff from soo many people! Here's some of my favourite videos. Obviously I didn't see them all, so, yea, I've probably missed a bunch of great stuff, but check these out nonetheless! First..

Some homegrown talent, Xi, an amazing UK fingerboarder, has not the cleanest style in the world, but a whole bunch of crazy and interesting tech skills. This video was awesome to watch! Nothing spectacular in the way of editing either, but when stuff is this creative, well, it doesn't matter I don't think. And at the end he kickflips a rail. As in, the rail does a kickflip, not a board. Go watch! Second..

Jaylyn M, someone I discovered not long ago who has some amazingly creative and clean skills! I love his style, and this beasty 3 minute video is just a bunch of really cool tricks and interesting stuff. No fuss, just an awesome video! And the ender? Tre casper out of a boardslide? Yea, seriously. Check it out. Third..

Amazing stuff from one of my favourite fingerboarders and a good friend of mine, Harry Yeates! Another UK rider with some great skills and this video is some of his best stuff, definitely. Creative, interesting, and clean. No complains from me there! I love how he can actually make 50-50s look interesting, I guess a lot of people avoid them, but, yea, he's got them on lock, haha. Great stuff! Finally..

Ryan W! Amazing stuff in this video, soo many really sick and clean tricks, the tre nosegrind nollie flip on the polebank for me was a stand out because the nollie flip was just soo clean! So were all the tricks here, and whilst this video wasn't as creative as the others, I think the great style + tricks + quality made this stand out too. Great stuff!

Those are in no particular order, and I'm sure I missed some great entries, so huge props to everyone who took part in MAMD '11! But yea, for now go check out Xi's channel here, Jaylyn's here, Harry's here, and Ryan's here :)
