No, thats not what I'm going to talk about. I'll look at the cute cat later. XD Huge amount of news with the opening of the new lowpro webshop! Lets see, where to start! Firstly, as always the decks have the great wear graphics, that are now better than ever, featuring all of the new graphics that came out a while ago, and will be on TWO new shapes! Yes, thats right, bye bye K4, you shall be thrown into the history of fingerboarding, for you are now retired. And out of your ashes, comes something that... makes you look bad in comparison. Haha, seriously, feast on these.
On the left? Family shape. On the right? Tiramisu shape. Both look really good, there's something to cater for the fingerboarder who likes the modern, more concave oriented 'modern' shapes, such as berlinwood 09s, and there's also something to cater for those of us who still love the classic shape, and don't get all this concave malarkey (that'd include me!). I love them both though, you can tell a lot of work went into both of them, and they'll be great decks!
They've also released new trucks (basically just shaped wides from what I can see, but, useful as always, and come in black and chrome), coloured nuts for your wheels/kingpins (which is pretty cool, you can get them in black). They're only available in the new tuning pack, which just comes with new trucks (a choice of colour), tuning, new colour nuts, tape, a tool, and stickers. Great extras to go with some great decks!
Whats really fascinating to read, is that everything is always going to be available, always. Why is that? They're making bunches and bunches of blank decks, with no lacquer, and then when you order they'll graphic it up and finish it off, then send it out. Its almost like the custom sandwich making industry of the fingerboard world.. the bread is already there, you just choose your filling, let them work their magic (on a side note, go to subway and tell people working their that they're 'magicians of the sandwich world. It pisses them off and its funny XD) and you get a great deck! Its a really interesting way of taking deck making, allows everyone to get what they want, unlike things selling out when stuff are available in batches, as per how decks are normally made by other companies. They deserve huge credit for coming up with something like that and doing it, as far as I'm aware (do correct me if I'm wrong here), they're the first to do this.
