Now look at this advert that was filmed in London very recently.
I think this is what the advert was. And when the person who I was in contact with asked for some help as to 'fingerboard organisations' (that was her wording I think) I pointed her in the direction of BRR, which is likely how Boris and Nic got on it. If it is the same thing, I was penciled in to be a part of it, but got told last minute I wasn't needed any more. Looks like it would have been amazing fun!
Regardless, its an awesome way to get fingeboarding on tv and to show more people that fingerboarding is awesome. I suppose it depends what they do with the fingerboarding in the advert, and how technical it gets, as to whether people think its a gimmick, or it gets shown in a way that inspires people to fingerboard and/or find out more about it. I hope the second one. :)
Its cool that (like I was told) the people used their own boards, I spy BRR trucks, winklers, most likely a berlinwood, and riptape? I bet some people watching it on tv will think it a secret new tech deck, haha XD
Props to Boris and Nic for supporting fingerboarding and going all the way to london to be in an advert, heres hoping the end result is awesome!
